Our Mission.
At Woods + Waters Gear Exchange, we believe good outdoor gear shouldn’t get tossed just because it’s been around the block a few times. We’re here to give jackets, boots, packs, and all the other good stuff a second shot at adventure—and keep perfectly useful gear out of the landfill while we’re at it.
We’re part consignment shop, part gathering spot, and part excuse to talk about where you’ve been and where you’re headed next. Come swap stories, find some well-loved gear, and meet people who’d rather be outside anyway.
Where it all began.
Jenna Vanni came from a life of developing and designing new product for the outdoor industry. The harmful to humankind and harmful to Mama Earth factor caught up to her and she realized that enough product was already playing outside – or sitting in a basement. It was time to work on re-circulating and re-using. She had always dreamed of opening her own gear shop and in 2018, she opened the doors to Woods + Waters in Brunswick, Maine.
