  • Winter Warming Centers

     

    Tedford Housing Warming Center

    Tedford Housing’s Overnight Winter Warming Center provides a safe, low-barrier space where individuals, families, and pets can escape the cold overnight. Located at 1 Tenney Way in Brunswick, the Warming Center opens its doors from November 15, 2025 through April 30, 2026, offering warmth, rest, and a hot meal each evening from 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM.

  • SNAP Into Action

    Below you can either add to a comprehensive list of Maine food banks and drives or scroll past the form and search. Please add drives or restaurants helping that you come across in your community or on socials! Mainers take care of each other.

     

    Emergency Maine Harvest Bucks Available

    In response to the SNAP funding crisis, MFFM will continue providing Maine Harvest Bucks to SNAP participants at farmers’ markets regardless of whether your EBT card has any funds. When you show your EBT card at the Info Booth of any participating farmers’ market, you’ll receive $15 in Maine Harvest Bucks to spend on fresh produce. You can do this every time you visit the market in the month of November.

     

    If you still have funds on your EBT card, you can continue spending them at the market, and the regular Maine Harvest Bucks match will still apply. See a list of all participating farmers’ markets open in the month of November below.

     

    Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program

    Access groceries including fresh produce, pantry staples, meat, and dairy products at MCHPP’s Food Pantry in Brunswick.

    Bath Area Food Bank

    Those residing in Bath, West Bath, Woolwich, Arrowsic, Georgetown, and Phippsburg can access groceries, including fresh produce, at the Bath Area Food Bank

    Bath Area Soup Kitchen 

    Meals are served Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-1: 30 pm and Wednesdays 12-1pm.  We are located at 807 Middle Street. If we are closed due to a holiday or storm..we will post that information at the soup kitchen and storms on Channels 6 and 13. Presently, We are serving ‘to go’ meals only. Look for the blue striped awning…meals will be served out of that window. We will offer a hot meal and a frozen meal each open day

    SNAP benefits are accepted, and users earn additional “bonus bucks” to be used on more produce purchases.

  • Diaper Program

    in Bath at Midcoast Maine Community Action. Anyone in need of children's diapers and/or wipes can pick up 2 packs per day (as inventory allows) from our office at 34 Wing Farm Parkway in Bath. It's also the WIC and Head Start office for this area. We also supply Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program with diapers that they use for their own programming and supply their Pantry Partners with. We are always in need of donations (which can be dropped off at our office during open hours or at Brackett's Market in Bath), especially sizes 4 through 8. Open packs (as long as they are clean/unused) and new boxes are equally appreciated. People can also donate money on our website so that we can purchase in bulk for cheaper than big-box stores!

    Better Together Cumberland County

    Better Together - Cumberland County (ME) is a location-specific donation coordination group. Our goal is to act as a bridge connecting those who need specific items with those looking to donate specific items. All are welcome but you must live or work within Cumberland County, Maine. Invite local friends and family members to join and help or be helped.

    Midcoast New Mainers Group

    Supports immigrants and refugees in the Midcoast area, offering educational resources, language support, and cultural integration services.
