Part-Time Retail Sales Associate – Outdoor Gear Consignment Store

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As an outdoor gear consignment store, we are seeking someone who has a passion for and knowledge of outdoor activities and equipment. If you enjoy helping customers, staying organized, and creating a welcoming shopping environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service

  • Assist shoppers on the sales floor and answer questions about outdoor gear and equipment

  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive sales floor

  • Organize merchandise, displays, and inventory

  • Perform light cleaning duties throughout the store

  • Assist with stocking, pricing, and merchandising items

  • Support daily store operations and opening/closing tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for outdoor recreation and outdoor gear

  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude

  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods

  • Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed

  • Previous retail experience is preferred but not required

Job Details

  • Part-time position (8-16 hours/week)

  • Must work one Saturday a month

  • Flexible scheduling may be available

  • Hourly pay based on experience

​
